My name is Marissa and I am a family photographer based on the Sunshine Coast, BC. I am a mom of two of the sweetest kids, that sparked my love for documenting kids and families.
I am sure that the idea of getting your family photos taken can feel super stressful. The idea of awkwardly being in front of the camera, what to wear, and hopefully the kids will behave and smile. I totally get it!! I have kids I know what its like!
Instead of having this experience be stressful for you and your kids, my approach is to keep it fun and easy going. I use a documentary approach and I mix this up with a little bit of directing. We can plan to do something fun. Lets explore a beach together, have a bonfire with hot chocolates or go for ice cream!
